What is the New Year 2027 AI trend?

Updated:

Short answer

It is a one-shot AI clip for the turn of the year. A person climbs four huge white marble digits that spell 2027 on a mountain peak, stands up on top with open arms, and the camera pulls back to show the whole number and the landscape. It is a countdown card with you on top.

Example frame: a woman in a beige jacket stands with her arms open on top of four giant white marble digits that read 2027, on a mountain peak at sunset

Where it came from

The idea is the sequel to last year's "goodbye 2025, welcome 2026" clip, which spread in the weeks around New Year; a Spanish tutorial for it by @lahmr60574583 reached about 1.4 million views. The first 2027 version was posted by @c0pe6zs0b9 on 27 October 2026, and on 28 October @user4947097136093 posted a French version, labelled as AI-generated, that reached about 212,600 views. Counts were read on 31 October 2026 and not audited.

Why people post it

  • It is a New Year card: it replaces a plain greeting with a small summit-top moment.
  • You are the hero of the number: the year literally sits beneath your feet.
  • The reveal is the hook: the pull-back that shows 2027 is the moment people wait for.

Questions people ask

How long is the clip?

Posts run 6 to 8 seconds for the scene, plus a tutorial in some. Ours is 6 seconds and ends on the full reveal.

Is it always marble on a mountain?

The classic is. Here the material and the place are presets, so you can use gold, ice, neon or flowers on a cliff, a rooftop or a dune.

Does it only work for 2027?

This template writes 2027. The idea comes back each year with the new number, so a future year would be a new template.
